The primary aim of Digreen Homes is to build – both figuratively and literally – onto the success that has been achieved since the business started in 2001. Over the years, the company has grown their capabilities, and they now offer a variety of building services – ranging from low-rise to mid-rise residential projects and commercial projects across the GTA and Southern Ontario.
Digreen Homes’ philosophy is to build homes that today’s customers want to live in and is evident across all their projects. The Markham-based firm is championed by CEO Abubakar Masood and President Mohsin Masood, a third-generation family homebuilder with over 30 years in the construction, planning and development industries. “Our core mandate and philosophy is quality. Our product will always exceed the norm in the markets that we deal in,” says Moshin Masood. “We offer luxury features and finishes that are standard in all our homes such as coffered ceilings, granite countertops, and oak stair cases that our competitors don’t do. I would rather give more to our customers so they can live in a home that they are proud of.”
Because a home is the foundation for a family’s lifestyle, Digreen Homes strives to make sure every new home meets and often exceeds their buyer’s expectations. The company builds in some of the region’s most desired locations and within its most highly regarded school districts. New homes and communities located across Southern Ontario; including Markham, Richmond Hill, Vaughan, Oakville, Brampton and Caledon.
A TEAM EFFORT
The dedication, expertise and commitment to excellence displayed by the entire staff at Digreen Homes promotes inspiration and is certainly not lost on Masood and his executive team. In fact, the President is quick to deflect corporate accolades for himself, saying the company’s success is mainly due to the great group surrounding him. He credits their professionalism and pride in their work on behalf of the organization as being a fundamental reason as to why Digreen Homes has continued to prosper. “I think it starts with the roots of the company and the philosophies on quality and productivity. But when it comes right down to it the credit goes to our fantastic staff. You’re only as good as your staff,” Masood says. “We work with a select group of trades who share our common objectives, and we have a core team of about 15 people who make sure on a regular basis that the quality of the work is being completed. The supervision that our team provides onsite is guaranteed, that’s why we are able to deliver a good quality product.”
Digreen Homes has become a true leader in bringing the latest in sustainable building methods and materials to each home they build. Masood has been a firm advocate of building greener with more energy efficient homes and strives to bring these sustainable and energy saving techniques to all of their new construction projects. Sustainable building is not just an option anymore, it has become the new standard for quality builders and Digreen Homes has been doing their part to make strategic decisions for a prosperous and environmentally sustainable future. “Our homes are equipped with modern products, and we use synthetic pipes and engineered lumber in the building process,” says Masood. “We are also dedicated to staying on top on building trends with integrations within various smart-home systems such as thermostats and washer and dryers.”
