Build Canada:  What was your approach and collaboration with the Kalamoir Construction team and the Trinity Hills development in Calgary. Additionally, what specific craftsmanship or services did you offer?

Eryk Glod:  We offer exterior cladding service for all cladding elements as well as roofs. On the Trinity Project, we had the opportunity to show how a good contractor can operate. We strive to be the contractor that has full trust from the builder, the ability to provide our builders the opportunity to focus on other aspects of the project and have full confidence in us that the exterior will be done efficiently without sacrificing quality.

BC:  A statement on your website caught our eye, “Stonework installation is an art that blends patience, skill and meticulous preparation to ensure effective waterproofing” – Could you elaborate on the significance of these essential principles?

EG:  Ice and water are the biggest factors that can damage cladding or cause other issues. By combining our knowledge of the envelope and taking the time to consider different factors, we can ensure the longevity and beauty of our stone.

EG:  We have a strong service department ready and able to address any issues that come up. Be it be leak investigations, damage repairs or assistance with other scopes, we are ready to go. Each of our trades are specific for their scope, so knowledge and quality never suffers. 

EG:  Natural wood look materials have really taken off recently, whether it ‘s metal siding/hardie or composite, all are very popular products. There is a broad variety of these so it can be applied to all buildings, starter or estate to commercial and everything in between.
